If you’re not already familiar with S M Lockridge’s My King – then you should be! He simply speaks for seven minutes about Jesus Christ, but it’s impossible not to listen without responding in heartfelt praise.
Last summer I put together a video: a combination of Lockeridge’s words, with some images that I hope will add to the power of his message. I’ve been encouraged to share the video – so have uploaded it here. If you’re looking for a video to inspire you in your Christian faith, or a video to show before the sermon in a Sunday service in church, or just something to remind you how God is worthy of our praise, then this might be just the thing.
A variety of formats are available depending on how patient you are downloading! Files are now available in Quicktime format for Mac users, and in various formats for portable devices (if in doubt, try the iPod video format). As requested in the comments, I’ve now made files easier to download, just click on the links below:

Buy the DVD
- It’s now possible to buy the DVD of this video from Lulu for around $10+shipping. Please note that you don’t get anything extra that you can’t download from this site for free (except for a nice plastic DVD case!). The option is there just for people who can’t create their own DVDs.
Please note
Please note that there are about eight seconds of blank video at the beginning and end. If you’re showing the video to a large group, it helps you make sure everything is ready before it actually starts!
Due to popular demand, I’ve added a file that will create a DVD for you (if you have a DVD writer in your computer). If you have a copy of Nero or Roxio, you should be able to just double-click on the downloaded file and follow the prompts. If you don’t have a program that already handles .ISO files, you can download MagicISO for free, then follow these instructions (scroll down to number 7).
A note about copyright: I’ve tried to establish the copyright status of the audio, but have been unable to trace the original copyright holder. Bearing that in mind, I am happy for anyone to freely distribute the video itself, though you may not make a charge for it. I will of course honour the original copyright holder’s wishes should they contact me.

Absolutely indescrible, like our Lord. Awesome beyond words. Praise to the Father, for He is good and merciful. This just moved my entire soul. We cannot fathom how great God is. He is beyond words and I am so greatful that I am His and you are too. How powerful your description. Praise to the Father and may He and He alone receive all the glory. I learned of you from someone at my church, Woodstock First Baptist. If I can receive any info or emails from you, please include me. Thank you

I sat down for Sunday AM service next to a face that looked familiar. Introductions were made and a previous contact was acknowledged by this person who also informed me that this was his first time at our church. During the music worship, he confided that he was “used to a screamin’ church organ and a slappin’ tambourine”, as opposed to our usual acoustic guitars, bass, and percussion accompaniment. He also confessed that he does not attend church on a steady basis, but that he always feels better when he does.
TVC (The Village Chapel – http://www.thevillagechapel.com) is ALL about The Word, presenting a study of the Gospel, book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse, word-for-word. Other than opening announcements, the emphasis is on the teaching of this and on prayer, including the music, which is regarded as “worship”. Pastor Jim Thomas does not deliver a “sermon”, as he is acutely aware that people are “hungry” for The Word.
This particular Sunday, he elected to do something VERY different, in addition to the usual “slide show” that focuses attention on the Scripture being shared. After a brief study of the Book of John (Chapter 6, where upon Christ describes Himself repeatedly in the form of “I am…”) He invited the congregation to “sit back and listen to the words of SM Lockridge” and view this amazing video that accompanies them.
I don’t imagine that there was anyone present who’s need for this particular form of worship was any greater than my “visiting” friend. When it had finished, he turned to me and said, “Now THAT’s more like what I’m used to.” I validated this, explaining that I had never seen or heard anything like it in our church before. I then assured him that I “come here to hear the Word of God” and that I truly enjoy the respectful and insightful way it is presented and shared at TVC. I look forward to my friend’s return visit to our Sunday service and pray for his believing in Jesus’ “indescribable” name. Amen.

This is absolutely awesome. I came to work today feeling down. A friend just happened to forward the web-quality version to me. I watched it a half-dozen times and my spirit was lifted higher each time. It made me want to jump up and clap my hands. I searched the web and found this site with the presention-quality version. I was awestruck. I forwarded the link to a couple of people in my office and by noon most everyone in the office had seen it and was equally inspired.
It’s indescribable! And, by the way, I know that my friend didn’t “just happen to send it to me.” The Lord works in mysterious ways.
Thank you very much for sharing this with the world.
