I "had" a working TNG on my site (click Here) that was installed in the root of the website and decided to add wordpress. I installed WordPress successfully (3.01) alsoin the root of the website and the uploaded/installed and activated the TNG plugin.
I did this…
•Created a blank page (Genealogy) on my WordPress site where I wanted TNG to be displayed.
•Copied the tng folder (from the plugin .zip file) into your WordPress plugins folder. It is located in "/wp-content/plugins/tng-wordpress-plugin"
•Options from the new TNG menu that appears, and set the path to your TNG installation, and confirm the page you want TNG to be displayed on (Genealogy). Searching for TNG installation found the path, so I assume that is correct.
•WordPress permalinks are on
I did not do this because I could not find where the widgets were.
•Add the TNG widgets at the top of your sidebar. They’ll only be displayed on your TNG page.
OK now for the problem, I can not access TNG at all. When I search for names, I get no results, even when I search for my own name. Is the problem because both WordPress and TNG are installed in the root of the website? I am stuck at this point.
